About Dr. A. Vandiveer Strait
Dr. Strait has developed a passion for dentistry that he’s nurtured throughout his life. After earning his DDS from the Temple University School of Dentistry, he went on to complete graduate studies in periodontics at Indiana University and the University of Pennsylvania. This experience prepared him to serve as Chief Periodontist and Preventative Dental Officer in the US Navy.
Dr. Strait is a lifetime member of the American Dental Association and former president of the Greenwich Dental Society. Most notably, he’s a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. In order to earn this honor, a dentist must pass a difficult examination and complete over 500 hours of approved continuing education courses.
In 2017, after more than 20 years of providing Invisalign treatment, Dr. Strait was selected as the winner of the North American Invisalign Competition. He was chosen over more than 30,000 other doctors and presented his case results at the Invisalign GP Summit in Washington, DC.
With his long list of credentials and our patient-centered approach, it’s no surprise that patients in Norwalk trust Dr. Strait to handle their Invisalign treatment.
“High quality service and very professional. It was the best experience I ever had. They really know how to take care of their patients and give them the best results”
One of the best parts of Invisalign treatment is that our technology allows you to see the results before your treatment begins. We accomplish this using our iTero scanner to create a 3D digital model of your smile.
Thanks to the iTero Element® scanner, we can produce more effective results in a shorter amount of time. Using this model of your smile, we customize your aligners to perfectly match your smile. That’s why we can predict your results with stunning accuracy.
We only move the teeth that need to be moved, acting with precision to deliver the results you expect.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is it OK to get Invisalign from a dentist?
Yes, dentists who provide Invisalign are fully qualified and have been trained to give you the best treatment possible. While some orthodontists can also provide Invisalign, a dentist can also provide invisible braces.
A dentist can also provide a myriad of other services in addition to Invisalign, so you won’t have to coordinate appointments at different offices. You can trust in your dental team. We’ll get to know your unique health situation so we can provide the best overall care for you.
What should I look for when choosing a new dentist?
When looking for a new dentist, you should evaluate their qualifications, experience, and how comfortable you feel in their office as well as interacting with them. All of the dentists at our office have gone through extensive education and continue their education to stay current with the newest, safest dental practices.
It’s also important to find a dentist who can help you feel comfortable during your appointment. We know dental work can be difficult to undergo sometimes, and we do everything we can to help you when you’re here.
